Edge was then unable to defeat Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan to win the WWE Universal Championship on Night Two of WrestleMania 37. Since Edge is billed to return on the Houston Smackdown, and there is talk about bringing back big names, his wrestling at SummerSlam seems to add up.
Edge is paid $3 million by WWE and is rumored to have 25 dates heading into SummerSlam, though he may have seen an increase this year.
