At WWE Backlash, Edge and Randy Orton competed in “The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever.” While that’s debatable, the duo put on one of the best matches of 2020.
With the series now at 1-1, it’s expected that we’ll see a third match down the line. However, their feud will have to be put on the backburner for now. WWE confirmed reports that Edge suffered a triceps injury at Backlash.

Edge has already undergone surgery, and the timetable for his return is unknown. However, injuries of this nature usually take between eight months to a year to fully recover.
Reportedly, the injury took place during retakes of the match.
