Elias suffered a major pectoral injury a few months ago. Due to his injury, he was unable to compete in the Intercontinental Championship tournament on Smackdown. He was written off of WWE television where he was hit by a car.
He required surgery for his injury and was on the shelf for months. Now it seems The Drifter made his return during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, and Seth Rollins competed in a thrilling triple threat match. Then Elias suddenly appeared in the ring and smashed his guitar on Jeff Hardy’s head.
AJ Styles took advantage of the situation and won the match. We will have to see what WWE has planned for Elias.
