Ember Moon requires immediate surgery due to elbow injury

Ember Moon

WWE announced during this week’s episode of Raw that Ember Moon has suffered an injury and she is unable to compete during the show, due to which Natalya was forced to tag with Dana Brooke during the episode.

While at the time, the company didn’t provide much info on her condition, they later released a backstage interview of Ember where she talks about her condition in a little more detail.

In the video as seen below, Moon recalls working last year’s Royal Rumble event hurt and reveals that the same was the case for this year’s show as well.

Continuing on the topic, she explains that she has messed up her elbow pretty bad and then Ember revealed that she will require immediate surgery for the same:

At the point there aren’t enough details to determine how long the former NXT Women’s Champion will stay out of action but we’ll keep you posted on her status.

Just saw this reply a month later. Ember injured that same arm before Takeover: Chicago in 2017 and had to drop out of a fatal 4 way match between her, Ruby Riott, Nikki Cross, and Asuka for the NXT Women’s Championship. If she continues to injure the same arm like that WWE will pull the plug on her and she won’t get the same treatment Paige did, Ember will be back on the indies and will probably end up with permanent damage to her arm because she won’t have the safety net that is WWE policy.

oh man that sucks, going to miss her.

They could move Moon to Smackdown an bring the riavl between Asuka and Moon back. Those two do have some unfished business from NXT.

This will be her first time off injured, so not so sure she will be seen as injury prone just on that one time incident. That said, I agree she will probably be buried when she returns, but that is kinda traditional for WWE to pull that stuff when people go off injured. But, with the fact she has barely been pushed since joining the main roster, that is hardly gonna be any different to now.

She’s in trouble now. Vince is gonna see her as injury prone and unreliable. She’s gonna be buried even more unless Triple H and Stephanie take over soon.
