Eric Arndt, also known as Enzo Amore and his stage name Real1, revealed the original plan the WWE had for him and Nia Jax back in January.
Prior to his release from the WWE in early 2018, Enzo Amore was involved in an angle with Nia Jax. The Cruiserweight Champion was seen flirting with Jax several times over the course of a few months, and it was hinted that the two were heading towards an on-screen relationship.
We never got to see that storyline play out, as the WWE would release Arndt on January 23, but he revealed on the Store Horsemen podcast that he was on his way to a full-blown heel turn, though it can be argued he was already a heel at the time.
I mean look at that Nia / Alexa Bliss WrestleMania blow-off. What do you think was gonna happen? How else could I get full-blown heat? Enzo Amore with the grey area trying to get full-blown heel real, real f–king heat. How do you do that?
