Former WWE star Enzo Amore was the talk of the WWE Universe when he “raided” Survivor Series last November at the Staples Center and caused a scene at the event. He was sitting in the front row of the event for the starting of the show and later on he got up from his seat and cut promos and riled up the crowd, before eventually being kicked out of the event by security, as well as getting banned from the Staples Center.
He recently made an appearance at the West Side Comedy Club where he was asked about his actions at the event. He said that the only reason he went there and did what he did was to rile up Vince McMahon. It wasn’t to promote his music. He wanted to beat Mr. McMahon at his own game and he knew his former boss would respect it.
“Why did I do it? It had nothing to do with my music. I’ll tell you why I did it, because I knew for a fact Vince McMahon would be heated more than anything in the world but he’d respect the f*ck out of it. That’s why I did it. Because it was about one person, and that was it. Because I proved to him that I could beat him at his own game of statistics and numbers, and this that and the other, and I don’t even work for your company. I broke no laws, I bought a ticket.”
Enzo also gave some information on how he made his exit from the venue after security was called in. He said he had an “intimate moment” with Lisa of the security team at the venue which he described as “the most intimate moment I’ve had with a woman in years.”
“I look her in the eyes and I go, ‘I am a good person and you know it.’ She goes, ‘You gotta go see Vince.’ I go, ‘I don’t work here Lisa.’ She goes, ‘You gotta go.’ I gotta go, what? All of a sudden I see cops coming, security coming from every angle, and I look at her one more time and I go, ‘I deserve better.'”
He added that as for getting out of the building, he had an Uber ready to go outside of the arena that he just hopped in after taking pictures with a couple of fans.
