Eric Bischoff calls out “wannabe” John Cena

At WrestleMania 36, John Cena faced ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt in a unique, first-ever Firefly Funhouse Match where we witnessed different versions of both men, according to their career paths in WWE.

One point in the match, Cena portrayed the ‘Hollywood nWo’ version of himself and presented the WWE Universe with a heel outlook, in reference to Hollywood Hogan’s historic heel turn from Bash at the Beach, 1996.

While the angle was majorly praised by the WWE Universe, former nWo member Eric Bischoff seemed pretty critical of it and took to social media in order to finally reflect on Cena’s nWo appearance.

In one of his recent tweets, Bischoff went all-in on the former 16-time WWE World Champion and described him as a “wannabe” for his actions from WrestleMania 36.

Eric Bischoff was a prominent member of the New World Order in the peak stages of the Attitude Era and played a vital role in the faction’s growth.

Along with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash, the nWo revolutionized the pro wrestling business and also helped WCW in edging past WWF in the Monday Night Wars, as well.

Judging by Bischoff’s tweet in regards to Cena’s nWo outlook, the former Monday Night RAW General Manager certainly wasn’t a fan of the angle and it remains to be seen if Cena will respond to the tweet or not.
