The raging war between NXT and AEW on Wednesday nights has rekindled the old days with it reminiscing the Monday Night Wars between RAW and Nitro back in the day. However, Eric Bischoff feels that comparing the two is not fair. He claimed:
“I don’t think that’s a fair comparison. I don’t mean to sound disrespectful to NXT or AEW but it’s kinda hard to compare the Monday Night Wars to the Wednesday Night Wars,” Bischoff said in a media scrum at Starrcast. “I don’t really feel that’s a fair comparison to anyone, them or the Monday Night Wars.”
Moreover, he went onto add the one aspect that he feels AEW is doing pretty well. Bischoff feels that AEW Dynamite is presented in a way that appeals to the viewer. He added:
“An example of what AEW is doing right is the way they lit the crowd. The first episode or two I saw of AEW, they did a fantastic job of lighting the audience. The audience became a character in the show itself and created a ton of energy that translates to the home viewer,”
