Eric Bischoff not happy with the upcoming Flag Match

WWE made an unusual move when they booked a flag match between John Cena and Rusev for Battleground, as it will presumably be the first PPV of Cena after his return.

Not many people liked this idea and the people who are criticising the latest WWE booking include former WCW President and former Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff.

In the latest episode of Bischoff On Wrestling Podcast, Eric ripped off the idea of booking a flag match saying that he hates it:

“I hate it. I just hate it. I haaaate it. I hate it. God, whose idea was that? Vince McMahon, if you are listening to this or someone that works for you is listening to this re-think that. That is just… gwuck. My teeth hurt just listening to you talk about this”

Continuing on the topic, Bischoff took a shot at the rules of the Flag match and said that he is going to ‘sleep through’ the whole match:

“You are going to grab my flag? Huh? You are grabbing my flag? That’s what I am going to get pissed off about and fight my heart out about? You’re going to grab my flag. I am sorry. I am sleeping through that one”
