Eric Young confirms he is exclusive to Impact Wrestling

Eric Young has six or seven years left in his career, the pro wrestling veteran revealed during a new interview this week.

Young was released by WWE as part of the “Black Wednesday” COVID-19 cuts made back in April and after the non-compete clause in his contract with the company expired, the former SAnitY member made his return to IMPACT Wrestling.

The former IMPACT World Champion turned up at the Slammiversary 2020 pay-per-view in July, leading many to question if he is back for good, and if so, is he exclusive to the promotion?

During a recent interview with Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda, Young revealed that he did, in fact, sign a contract to be an exclusive talent for IMPACT Wrestling.

“Yeah, I am on an exclusive contract with IMPACT,” Young told Cassidy this week. “I’m very excited about that!”

After informing the pro wrestling journalist that he has “six or seven years left” in his career as an active talent in the ring if he wants, Young questioned if he will push it to the absolute longest period his body and life circumstances will allow.

“I do have a lot of gas left in the tank,” Young claimed. “It’s just a question of how much longer I want to do it.”
