The pirate’s life is the life for Errol Spence it seems as the star is flashing off his new Pirate’s Of The Caribbean clad eye patch in a recently surfaced photo. Errol Spence seemed to be enjoying his time with just one eye open as he is smiling in the photo that you can see below. Even though Spence had to miss the fight against Manny Pacquiao, he doesn’t look like he wanted to miss a minute of fun as the photo looks to be out in public. This had all started when Errol Spence suffered a retinal detachment/break in his left eye during sparring weeks before his scheduled fight with Manny Pacquiao. During a session at the World Class Boxing Gym in downtown Dallas, Spence said, he felt something was very off. Errol then stopped the sparring session and let out a horrifying: “My eye, my eye.”
Many felt that Spence was running from Manny, but Spence and his team had previously stated that this was not the case at all. Spence has an incredible career at such a young age and his record (27-0, 21 KOs) speaks for itself. Spence was told not to spar until he was examined by an eye specialist. “You don’t want to lose your eye,” the doctor warned him.
