Errol Spence ‘Goes After’ Manny Pacquiao After Loss

Fans might be wondering what would have been the outcome if Errol Spence Jr. had squared off against Manny Pacquiao as per the schedule. Spence had to pull out of the match against Pacquiao, who suffered a loss to WBA (Super) welterweight world champion Yordenis Ugas at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night. The judges scored 115-113, 116-112, 116-112 for Ugas, as he retained his WBA belt as well as giving Pacquiao the eighth professional defeat of his career.

One of the fans took to Twitter and opined that Errol Spence ‘would have destroyed’. Spence took note of the Tweet and seems to have agreed on it as he liked the Tweet.

Moments after Pacquiao’s surprising loss to Ugas last night, Terence Crawford took to social media to let Spence know the cold, harsh reality. He wrote:

“Looks like @ErrolSpenceJr gone need me after all tho I know you really mad about that fight last night because I was but not in a hating way just in a missed opportunity way. Don’t beat yourself up about it get well Champ”

Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) has been slated to retire after the shocking defeat to Ugas (27-4, 12 KOs.  WBO welterweight champion Crawford and IBF/WBC champ Spence only have each other now at 147, as far as the possibility for a big-money fight. We will see what is next for them.
