ESPN adding ‘Best WWE Moment’ category to ESPYS this year

For the first time, WWE will be getting its own category in the ESPN ESPY Awards. The new category is The “Best WWE Moment” award and it has four nominees, which are:

  • Roman Reigns returns to WWE RAW after battling Leukemia
  • Becky Lynch wins both WWE Women’s Championship Title at Wrestlemania 35
  • Kofi Kingston wins 1st WWE Heavyweight Championship Title at Wrestlemania 35
  • Ronda Rousey wins 1st RAW Women’s Championship Title

Fans can vote for their favourite segment at this link. While WWE superstars have attended the event in the past and even the likes of John Cena has hosted the event, this is the first time WWE has a category of its own there.

The ESPY Awards will be taking place on  July 10th and will be hosted by Tracy Morgan. It will be interesting to see which moment wins the “Best WWE Moment” award.

Money buys this type od media noteriety. Wonder how much Vince negotiated for during his meeting with ESPN.

I agree, they should have instead Dave Batista’s shocking surprising return on Raw. Now that is the WWE’s Best Moment

  • The Random Reader

How about instead of Reigns, why not have Dave Batista’s surprise return when he attacked Ric Flair, that deserves the WWE’s Best Moment. In the internet, Dave Batista’s shocking return on Raw gains more views than Reigns

  • StoneColdBeckyLynch

Why not just have best moment in wrestling in general? Smells awfully biased

Reigns will win because they keep trying so hard to make him the biggest babyface. Its not working.. Not even beating cancer will get me to care for his wresting character
