WWE star Eva Marie is set to make her return to the company after seven long years of absence. It took months for them to debut her on television.
She reportedly signed with WWE back in September 2020. However, she wasn’t officially added to the company’s internal roster until January 2021.
Eva Marie will not wrestle
WWE has been teasing her debut by airing several vignettes for weeks on Raw. She recently revealed her in-ring attire as well and it was assumed that she is preparing to wrestle. However, it turns out that might not be the case. Randy Orton Tweets AEW Star About ‘Gross’ Rumor
Fightful Select reported that WWE is not planning for Eva Marie to wrestle. She is to be used as a “vehicle” to get other female Superstars over.
“The working plan isn’t for her to wrestle, but to use as a vehicle to help get another female talent over.”
It was previously reported that the deal to bring Eva Marie back to WWE was made a long time ago. There has been a mass release of WWE talents including the female talents. But it is understood it has nothing to do with this signing.
We will have to see when the Eva-Lution takes place on Raw and what WWE has in store for her.
