There’s been a lot of odd back and forth action between WWE and AEW stars as of late. This brings about some shades of the ‘Invasion’ angle that ended up being one of the biggest flops in wrestling history. Could a feud be brewing between WWE and AEW that could bring about a new era of an invasion-like angle? It may be starting as soon as right now…Sheamus ‘Emergency’ Stops Raw Match Early.
Let’s take a quick look at AEW for a moment. On their roster, Britt Baker is known as the ‘Role Model’. That’s all just fine and dandy until we take a look at WWE’s roster. Hmm, Eva Marie seems to use the ‘Role Model’ title as well, but wait…Bayley is using it now too? This is an entire new level of gimmick infringement.
Eva Marie recently posted a promo of herself on Twitter which had her switch the tune a bit on her name. Now it isn’t JUST ‘Role Model,’ it’s ‘Super Role Model’. I guess that’s one way to stop a lawsuit. Bayley then commented: “This is why I hate you guys.”
We will have to wait and see if this is the end of the ‘Role Model’ fiasco as it’s starting to get pretty confusing.
