Jim Lampley recently opted out of calling the boxing bout between Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort. Lampley had called many Holyfield fights. He knows the 58-year old has no business being in the ring.

Evander Holyfield is eyeing to put up a dominating performance

The Hall of Famer has been out of the ring since 2011. However, he will not be barred from being confident in his ability to beat Belfort. Belfort, 44-years-old, holds the record for the most knockouts in UFC history. He’s had a single boxing match in his combat sports career, back in 2006, with a KO victory being secured in the first round.  Donald Trump Paycheck For Holyfield Fight Leaks

Holyfield said:

“When Oscar De La Hoya came down with COVID they asked me to fight Vitor Belfort. Training is what I do, like I tell the young people if you do things right, it will work out for you, that works for older folks too.Boxing is a game and I know how to prepare for it against Vitor Belfort. I’m sure if I was getting in his game, I’d be in trouble but he’s getting into my game so he’s in trouble. I’ve been training for over two years because there were fights mentioned against other fighters. I realize now as I prepare to face Belfort I’m in good shape and I don’t get out of shape. I think I look alright but this is after two years of solid training.”

The boxing bout will be taking place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida on Saturday.
