Ex-WWE Diva Used Drugs Backstage With Male Star

The world of professional wrestling can be a treacherous one, with numerous pitfalls that can derail the careers of even the most talented athletes. Unfortunately, one of the most prevalent dangers in the industry is the use of drugs and alcohol, which can become all too common among wrestlers as they navigate the challenges of their demanding profession. Such was the case for Tammy Lynn Sytch and Chris Candido, whose struggles with substance abuse would ultimately come to define their legacy in the world of wrestling.

Recently, the popular television series Dark Side of the Ring announced that it would be dedicating an entire episode to Tammy Lynn Sytch and Chris Candido in its upcoming fourth season. For many fans and industry insiders, this news came as no surprise, as the tragic story of their lives and careers is one that is rife with sadness and heartbreak.

In a recent episode of his podcast on AdFreeShows, former wrestling executive Eric Bischoff shed light on the drug use that plagued Tammy Lynn Sytch and Chris Candido throughout their time in the industry. According to Bischoff, the couple’s addiction issues were a major problem that ultimately led to their downfall.

Bischoff stated that he was not a fan of either wrestler, and that he had serious reservations about bringing them into his company given their reputation for drug use. In fact, the situation had become so dire that people would have to check the bathrooms after Tammy Lynn Sytch and Chris Candido had used them, just to ensure that no needles were left on the floor.

“Not good. Not good at all. I didn’t really want them there. I didn’t see the value despite Sunny’s status at the time. The drug issue was such a, I mean everybody knew it. They were a train wreck and the idea of bringing in a couple train wrecks that you know are train wrecks into the company was just stupid.”

“I wasn’t a fan of either one of them. I mean, it got so bad, and I don’t usually talk about people who are no longer here, but let me put it this way. Those two would come out of a bathroom and people would have to come in and make sure there were no needles left on the floor. I mean, that’s how bad it was, so I had no time for either one of them. I feel bad about the drug addiction.”

“Fortunately, I’ve not been, nor has anybody in my family been addicted, but I know that addiction is a serious, serious, serious issue and I feel bad for the people that are in the midst of it, but they had no place in any wrestling company at that point in time.”

Despite his distaste for the couple, Bischoff expressed sympathy for those struggling with addiction, acknowledging that it is a serious and often debilitating condition. Nevertheless, he felt that Tammy Lynn Sytch and Chris Candido had no place in the wrestling industry at that point in time, given the extent of their addiction issues.

With the upcoming Dark Side of the Ring episode set to explore the tumultuous relationship between Tammy Lynn Sytch and Chris Candido, it is likely that viewers will be privy to many dark and disturbing details about their lives and careers. Moreover, it is possible that the episode will paint Tammy Lynn Sytch in a less than favorable light, given her history of drug use and the allegations she has made against other wrestlers, including Shawn Michaels.

In her autobiography, Tammy Lynn Sytch suggested that Michaels played a role in introducing her to the lifestyle of drugs and alcohol, and even engaged in a physical relationship with her while she was still married to Chris Candido. As such, Michaels may find himself under scrutiny as the Dark Side of the Ring episode unfolds, with fans and critics alike examining his role in the couple’s tragic story.
