Ex-WWE Star Shows Steroids And Drugs In Video

Maven, the former WWE superstar, recently shared insights into his use of steroids during his wrestling career, shedding light on WWE’s stance on performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) at the time. Maven’s career in WWE coincided with an era when the company had a roster filled with promising talents like Brock Lesnar, Batista, and John Cena.

In his latest YouTube video, Maven discussed the extent of his steroid usage and clarified that it was entirely his decision and funded out of his own pocket. He emphasized that he had never witnessed anyone using steroids backstage, and all of his activities related to PEDs were conducted in the privacy of his own home. While steroid use was not openly discussed, there were occasional questions about what he was taking, which he considered a compliment, indicating that he was achieving the desired results.

“It was all out of my pocket,” he said, “At the end of the day, it was 100% my decision.”

Maven emphasized that he was solely responsible for his actions, and he had never observed anyone in possession of or using steroids backstage in WWE. Regarding whether WWE had encouraged or discouraged PED usage, he stated, “Never was I ever led to believe that my job was in jeopardy in any way. I do remember, you know, a few guys being released, you know, for performance-enhancing drugs. My understanding of it was that that was just WWE’s way at the time to let them go.”

During his time in WWE, Maven was known for his participation in the inaugural season of “Tough Enough” and his appearances on WWE programming. His candid remarks shed light on the complex issue of PEDs in professional wrestling during that era.
