Ex-WWE Star Trying To Date Liv Morgan

MMA fighter Denzel Freeman has made headlines after publicly asking out former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan on a date. Freeman made the proposal during his post-fight interview after his recent victory over Raiden Kovacs via TKO at the PFL Challenger Series event. In a bid to win his second W of the night, Freeman named the WWE star and said, “If Liv Morgan is listening, I’m trying to take you out on a date, girl.”

Freeman, who previously trained at the WWE Performance Center, signed with the company in late-2014, but was released before he could have a match in front of a live audience. While Liv Morgan was also training at the Performance Center at that time, she eventually signed with WWE in October 2014 and made her main roster debut in 2017.

After Ariel Helwani shared a clip of Freeman’s interview, Freeman quote-tweeted the video, noting that “Shooters gotta shoot.” Morgan has yet to publicly respond to Freeman’s proposal, but she did retweet his quote-tweet.

In her most recent WWE appearance, Liv Morgan teamed up with Raquel Rodriguez to qualify for the WrestleMania Showcast tag bout on the March 17 edition of SmackDown. As for Freeman, his impressive win over Kovacs has further bolstered his MMA record, and fans will be eagerly anticipating his next move in the sport.
