Ex-WWE World Champion Gone From WrestleMania

As WrestleMania 39 approaches, WWE Superstars are eager to secure their spots on the biggest Premium Live Event of the year. However, Kofi Kingston may be forced to miss the show due to a recent foot injury sustained during a brawl on SmackDown. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kingston is expected to be out of action for around five weeks. While there were concerns that he might require surgery, it appears that he won’t need it at this time based on private reports.

“The time frame we are hearing is five weeks. There was concern earlier it could be longer because he may have needed surgery, and if he does need surgery, it would be lengthy. But all impressions are based on what he said publicly, and the word privately is that he won’t be needing the surgery right now.”
