WWE United States Champion Logan Paul has been involved several controversial matters in the past. He has yet again sparked controversy with his views on a transgender boxer’s victory at the Paris Olympics.

Several fans have supported him and argued that his views are not transphobic and that the backlash he faces may be overstated. At the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games, Algeria’s Imane Khelif earned a win over Italy’s Angela Carini, who forfeited the match after just 46 seconds. The video of Carini crying post-match soon went viral and it stirred controversy. This raised questions about Khelif’s eligibility due to her gender.

In their bout, Carini and Khelif barely engaged and Carini decided to walk away. Carini’s headgear was dislodged several times during the brief match. After the bout, Carini refused to shake Khelif’s hand and was seen crying on the ring floor.

Logan Paul did not hold back in his criticism of the 2024 Paris Olympic boxing match controversy. He condemned the situation and labeled it it as the “purest form of evil” seen at the Games. It was later noted that the boxer was not transgender and he didn’t take it all that seriously and simply doubled down on the fact that men shouldn’t compete with women.

The Maverick took to Twitter and made a poll, where he asked fans if his opinion that men shouldn’t be allowed to compete against women is transphobic. 69.1% of fans voted no, making it clear they do not believe Paul is transphobic whatsoever.

”Is my opinion that men shouldn’t be allowed to compete against women transphobic?”
