Ex-WWE World Champion’s WrestleMania Return Spoiled

The highly anticipated WrestleMania 39 weekend is finally upon us and WWE has brought in one of their biggest stars, Randy Orton. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the former WWE Champion to make his return to television after almost a year, and their wait may soon be over.

Orton’s last match was in May 2022 when he and Matt Riddle dropped the Raw Tag Team Titles to The Usos in a Winner Take All match on SmackDown. Initially, it was believed that Orton would be taking time off due to a back injury. However, it was later revealed that he had to undergo fusion back surgery and was forced to remain on the sidelines for much longer.

In recent weeks, there have been hints that Orton is getting closer to making his comeback. Reports suggest that there have been internal rumblings about Orton’s WWE status, and wrestling bootmaker Jose G Sanz revealed on social media that Orton recently contacted him about making boots for his return. Last week, it was reported that WWE had brought Orton in for the big weekend.

According to Pwinsider Elite, Orton has already arrived in Los Angeles for the WrestleMania weekend. However, it is still unclear whether WWE has plans to use him at WrestleMania or if they will save his return for Monday’s Raw. It is also possible that Orton is simply visiting friends.

Regardless of the reason for his visit, Orton’s presence has sparked excitement among fans who have been eagerly anticipating his return. With the unpredictability of the WWE, fans will just have to wait and see what WWE has in store for Orton and how his return will impact the wrestling world.
