New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor Wrestling have come together to bring what could be potentially one of the biggest non-WWE pro wrestling shows of recent times.
The G1 Supercard resulted from Supercard of Honor and Sakura Genesis shows merging to together, to create an event that will be the first non-WWE pro wrestling show to take place in Madison Square Garden in decades.
The card boasts of 12 matches and will see both the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and ROH World Championship get defended. IWGP Champion Jay White will defend against New Japan Cup winner Kazuchika Okada, while Marty Scurll and Matt Taven will fight for the ROH World Title against champion Jay Lethal in a ladder match.
The show will start at 6:30 PM Eastern, and the show will be streaming on both NJPW World and HonorClub.
