As noted, 29-year-old Armando Alejandro Montalvo was shot by police on Monday afternoon following him showing up at the WWE Performance Center with an alleged knife and charging the two police officers.
Police revealed that Montalvo had major mental issues and had prior incidents at the center leading up to the incident on Monday. He was interested in WWE Hall of Famer Lita, who had been working of late out of the Performance Center while training “Tough Enough” competitors.
During the August 24th arrest at the center, he was in possession of a huge sign for Lita.
WWE sent word to all talents and employees to not comment publicly about the incident.
