Finn Balor Reacts To NXT COVID ‘Outbreak’

WWE recently had yet another COVID-19 outbreak on the gold and black brand as they had to put several NXT Superstars in quarantine due to many positive COVID-19 tests. Currently, no names of NXT Superstars who tested positive for the virus have been revealed. Finn Balor though did appear to reveal his test results, as seen below.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the timeline of NXT’s most recent COVID-19 outbreak. Some individuals who did not appear during a recent meeting were also said to have tested positive for COVID-19.

“On Thursday, they were building rings and moving rings next door to the Performance Center and they were not wearing masks which is another big part that people are upset about. People were not wearing masks when they were doing this. People started to get sick on Friday, and that’s why they tested because normally none of these people would get tested until Tuesday. So, but they tested people I guess probably on Friday or Saturday.”

“I’m going to say they were tested on Friday because on Saturday was the first word that there were positives and then on Sunday I heard that there were ‘substantial’ [positive tests] and today it kinda got out.”

“There were people who tested positive who were not there also, There were people who were there that did.”

Many fans were wondering whether NXT Champion Finn Balor was one of the NXT Superstars who tested positive for the virus. Balor took to Twitter and in a short and simple tweet revealed a funny photo of himself testing Karrion Kross. Balor seemed to imply he was negative with the tweet.
