First match announced for Survivor Series

Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey announced for Survivor Series

Both Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and her SmackDown counterpart Becky Lynch successfully defended their titles at the Evolution PPV.

After the show, they had a confrontation while the SmackDown Women’s Champion interrupted Ronda’ post-match interview after a bout with Nikki Bella, as seen in the video below:

After this confrontation, WWE confirmed that both these stars will face each other in a one on one champion vs. champion match at the upcoming Survivor Series PPV, making it the first match to be made official for the show.

As we noted before a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination match between Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin’s teams is also rumored for the show but it’s not confirmed yet.

After this announcement, it’s confirmed that WWE is going with the SmackDown vs. Raw theme for the show once again but how many brand vs brand matches will be there is not confirmed.

Wow honestly dont understand people first they was saying rohnda should face becky now they are mad because its happening you cant make people happy.

  • Dirt McGirt

Then she can lose to fan favorite charlotte. What else could they possibly be leading to? Why ruin just one career (Asuka) when you can ruin two?

  • oppa

I’m already bored. At this point, she would have beaten everyone by Mania. Then what?

  • Anutosh Bajpai

They actually had a physical altercation planned but decided against it at the last minute

  • MT McGee

This was really poorly done. No announcement, no story, just the two women saying “hey champ” and that’s a match? Boy are the writers lazy.

  • Steven Stevens

People are going to get bored fast, Ronda going on a winning streak until she wants to have babies.

  • Anutosh Bajpai

What i meant to say is that it’s not confirmed how many brand vs brand matches will be there

“After this announcement, it appears that WWE is going with the SmackDown
vs. Raw theme for the show once again but this is not confirmed either.”

They said last night on commentary that it is the only PPV where RAW and SD go head to head, so it has been confirmed.

So they’re gonna put Ronda over on one of their best actual wrestlers, then? Cool.
