Floyd Mayweather Surrounded By Police In Video

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. apparently couldn’t be touched at the mall. The 15-time world champion, who turns 46 on Feb. 25, was seen walking through a Scottsdale Mall during Super Bowl 2023 week accompanied by around a dozen security guards. Onlookers were trying to approach the all-time great, who retired from professional competition in 2017 after beating Conor McGregor.

 


 

Mayweather, who has a net worth of $285 million per Forbes, was also recorded coming out of a store where he greeted swarming fans attempting to get his attention.

Since retiring for the final time in 2017, Mayweather has embarked on an exhibition boxing career, in which he’s competed five times since 2018, including a bout with Logan Paul in 2021, which garnered much attention. Mayweather is set to compete in another exhibition on Feb. 25 at the O2 Arena in London against former MMA fighter Aaron Chalmers.Mayweather was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2021.

Meanwhile, it was noted that Floyd Mayweather lost his main bet on Sunday night’s Super Bowl LVII as the Philadelphia Eagles were beaten by the Kansas City Chiefs, but later revealed he still came out making money.

The retired 50-0 boxing legend was in attendance at the State Farm Stadium to watch the game and insisted he was happy with his overall betting performance. Mayweather initially posted on Instagram showing his main bet on the result of the game. He staked $10,000 on the Eagles to win.

Despite being 24-14 ahead at half-time, they ultimately lost 38-35 to the Chiefs.

At full-time though, Mayweather replaced this Instagram post with another one which revealed he had actually come out on top after all. He posted a second bet slip which showed he’d also staked $10,000 on the Eagles to lead at half-time with a pay-out of $20,500.
