Former ROH Star makes NXT debut

Former Ring Of Honor Star Donovan Dijak made his in ring debut for WWE’s development territory NXT during the NXT Live Event from Largo, Florida this past Saturday night.

Dijak faced Aleister Black on the show and unfortunately, the former ROH Star lost his debut match via a pinfall. What’s interesting to note here is that this match was the Main Event of the night.

Donovan was reportedly first offered a WWE contract back in January this year but it was pulled after a legal threat from ROH who still had him under contract at that point.

After this, he waited for his ROH contract to end and opted to not re-sign with the company in hopes to receive another offer WWE. He finally reported to the WWE performance center back on August 21, but his signing was officially announced on September 5th.

Considering the fact that he is already on road with the NXT Crew, it’s expected that Donovan Dijak will not spend a long time in the performance center and it’s believed that he will make his TV debut for the company soon too.
