There has been talk of a possible class action lawsuit against WWE.
The lawsuit would involve royalties involving people that appear on the WWE Network. Former wrestlers who did interviews for WWE DVD’s get paid for it and collect royalties from the DVD. However, WWE’s DVD business has taken a hit due to the WWE Network.
Wrestlers who are interviewed for programs for the network are paid but they do not collect a royalty from the program that they appeared on like they do with DVD’s.
The wrestlers have yet to file a case against WWE, but it appears that they will be doing so soon.
