In an unfortunate incident, it was revealed today that former WWE Star and retired pro wrestler Tom Magee was a victim of a brutal assault and he was beaten by as many as 6 men.
The news was first reported by CBS News, who reveals that the 60-year-old Magee was beaten by these people over a parking dispute in front of his Mar Vista home in Los Angeles, California.
Below is an excerpt from the original report, explaining how the incident took place and it also includes comments from one of Tom’s neighbours:
“Tom came and encountered the young men, and it proceeded to a fight,” explained Tom’s friend, Kendall Noxxel. “It was sort of a conflict over who was allowed to park in this spot.”
“They were literally kicking him, punching him in the face and in the head,” said the neighbor.
Magee has reportedly suffered a broken jaw, broken eye socket and concussion from the beating and according to the explanation of the incident, it appears that the former wrestler is lucky to be alive.
Tom Magee wrestled in various Strongman competitions for many years and he worked for WWE mostly as a mid-card babyface from 1986 to 1990
