PWinsider is reporting that former WWE United States Champion Santino Marella is in Houston right now to take part in Royal Rumble weekend activities.
His presence is causing speculations that the former Champion from WWE could be returning to the company as a surprise entrant for the men’s battle royal at the PPV.
Interestingly, it’s believed that if he doesn’t compete in the men’s Rumble then it’s also possible that he joins the Women’s Royal Rumble using the Santina gimmick.
Though he is not the only former WWE star who is rumored to be a possible entrant in the bout and another former WWE talent is teasing an appearance at the show.
Former WWE star Hornswoggle recently also teased an appearance at the show by posting a photo of the Houston airport where the event is being held:
