Former WWE Superstar Lio Rush had been teasing that he will be retiring from pro-wrestling. Rush was released by WWE alongside a plethora of other WWE Superstars earlier in April.
At GCW’s Homecoming event, Rush made a surprise appearance by attacking AEW’s Joey Janela. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion will face Janela today on the second night of the same show.
Rush took to his Twitter handle to tweet the video of his return to the ring. Rush said that he’s back and the fans know it.

Rush has been very vocal about his time in the WWE and he wasn’t really happy with how he was used in the company. However, the former WWE Superstar is back in the squared circle and has already made his next move.
Rush is also focussing on his music career and recently released his new album titled “The Final Match”.
