AEW put out another successful show in All Out this past Saturday and the show had some bouts which were highly praised by the fans.
However, it wasn’t all good for the upstart promotion as people were also critical about a number of things, including the camera work and theme music of the stars.
Another area which has received criticism from an interesting name is the story work of the show as former WWE Writer and Lucha Underground producer Chris DeJoseph took on his twitter to raise his voice on the issue.
Chris claimed that while the PPV was ok, they need characters which connect with the audience and he learned nothing about the featured characters during the show:
@AEWrestling’s #AllOut was ok. IMO. They need their characters that connect to the audience, but tonight I learned nothing about the featured characters. Make me care! Btw much love to the @MrGMSI_BCage Vignette impression. Solid. Run with it. Do more.

I’ve taken a lot of flak for my unfavorable option of last night’s @AEWrestling show. I want them to succeed. But that show lacked story. And if you want the “average” fan to be invested, if you want to gain an audience, story trumps all, and that was severely lacking.
