Chael Sonnen has claimed in a new YouTube video that Ciryl Gane was the rightful winner against Francis Ngannou and that Brandon Moreno defeated Deiveson Figueiredo. Judges decided the opposite in both fights, so Chael appears to suspect shenanigans.
Sonnen claimed that Gane and Francis’ performances were pathetic and that neither stand a chance against Jon Jones. He also ripped the pair for failing to sell out the Honda Center in Anaheim. Chael said, “Neither of you is the best, Jon Jones is the best.”
“You could put the two of them together into one mythical hybrid and Jon Jones would stomp them out for 25 minutes.”

So to be in there with Mike surprised me because the power was exactly what I thought it would be but the defense was better than I thought it would be, even at 54 years old. The defense was the biggest thing. I was shocked that he could still be that defensive at 54 years old.”
