– Cheick Kongo vs. Frank Mir is in the works for UFC 107. Mir has already returned to training, and while he says he hasn’t been formally approached with the fight, he is open to it. Mir is coming off of a loss at UFC 100 to Brock Lesnar, while Kongo is coming off of a UFC 99 loss to Cain Velasquez. UFC 107, which takes place on Dec. 12th at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee, will be headlined by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Rashad Evans.

– In a blog post on FightHype.com, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson took aim at Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal.

“This punk ass dude ‘King Mo’ is all butt-hurt because I don’t know who the hell he is,” Jackson stated. “Straight up, if you’re not one of my friends or fighting one of my friends or a potential later opponent, I might not get a chance to watch your fight. So I didn’t know who the hell ‘King Mo’ was and now [he’s] crying like a little girl.”

The feud started with a YouTube video in which Lawal called Jackson “Bumpage” and calling himself “the best.”

Jackson also advised new and upcoming fighters that he may not be aware of them. “If you’re an up-and-coming fighter, don’t assume that I know you or (have) seen you fight. Let me know that you’re a fighter so we don’t have the same problems like ‘King Mo’ over here. Because ‘King Mo’ would be half-cool if he didn’t have those gay ass nipple rings and didn’t talk so much.”
