Welcome to wrestling-edge.com’s live results coverage of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, the action starts at 8:00 p.m. live from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York as the pyro goes off and the crowd pops!

A Moment Of Bliss

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are announced as “A Moment Of Bliss” kicks off tonight’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown in the center of the ring. Alexa Bliss gives honorable mention to the 2020 Hall of Fame Inductees including “The Animal” Batista, as well as JBL (John “Bradshaw” Layfield) and The Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie Bella).

Bliss continues on as she says, “Speaking of Wrestlemania, Kabuki Warriors… as you know, the Women’s Tag-Team Championships are supposed to be defended on all brands. So when you guys decide to stop hiding out at Monday Night RAW… you know where to find us.” The crowd shouts, “Ohhhh!” to which Bliss follows up with, “Someone had to say it.”

Introducing her very special guests, “Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman… The nWo!” The music sounds for nWo as Nash, Hall, and Waltman make their way to the stage, then walk down the ramp towards the ring where Bliss and Cross are hosting tonight’s episode of Moment of Bliss.

The three Hall of Famers enter the ring and put their hands up as the crowd goes crazy, they shake the hands of Alexa and Nikki before taking a seat. “Hey Yo” Cross continues on by congratulating as they are to be inducted into the Hall of Fame as nWo, they are now two time Hall of Famers. Cross says she HAS to say it, she has been a fan her entire life, then declaring she must take a selfie with them as she proceeds to get up and goes over, nWo poses alng with Cross. Bliss says, “Moving on…”

Cross continues, “Sean, question for ya. Sean, what do we call you? Do we call you 1, 2, 3 Kid, X-Pac, Sean?” to which Sean replies, “Maybe just call me ‘Hall of Famer’!” Cross mentions Sean was inducted last year with DX, now with your brothers Hall and Nash of nWo this year.” Cross brings up their biggest rivalry, with Bill Goldberg.

Cross moves on to Kevin, “Kevin, you were the one to break Goldberg’s winning streak. What does Roman Reigns have to do to beat Goldberg at Wrestlemania?” Nash thanks Cross for bringing it up, as he says he “forgot” he beat Goldberg. Nash continues on to say he spoke with Reigns earlier in the week, saying all Reigns needs to win is “Scott Hall and a cattle prod”. Hall chimes in, “That was a shocking finish!”

As Scott Hall is about to speak, he is interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, and Cesaro. Zayn with the mic as he begins, “Please… please… Gentlemen, we get it, we all love the nWo, it’s for life. 1997 was a great year, but it’s time to stop living in the past. It’s time to look on to the future.” Zayn goes on to say they are the future and the three of them will be defeating Braun Strowman to win back the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber.

Zayn, Nakamura, and Cesaro finally enter the ring. Zayn points to Scott Hall, mockingly saying, “Razor Ramone?” Kevin Nash next, “Big Daddy Cool Diesel, you know what I’m talking about.” Zayn moves on to Sean, “Sean Waltman, you know how much it weighs, because you carried these guys bags for so many years.” Sean stands up saying they could go.

Nash looks to Zayn saying, “You got a lot of room to talk when you look like Seth Rogan after two weeks of stomach flu.” Hall says, “He told you… I heard him. Somebody said it.” The crowd laughs. Zayn says they could drop nWo in 2 seconds. Nash says they couldn’t touch them on any day. Hall chimes in, “Yea, what they said.” Zayn asks, “You wanna fight?” Sean says, “Let’s do it.” Zayn finishes, “If it’s a fight you’re looking for… it’s not gonna happen. Let’s get out of here.”

Zayn says he’s not going to give them what they want, nWo wants to get the rub from them, to be relevant, to get their names on social media. Zayn exits the ring with Nakamura and Cesaro as he continues on to say they will not lose focus, their focus is destroying Braun Strowman and winning the title.

Zayn is interrupted as Strowman’s music sounds in the arena. Cesaro runs up the ramp landing a boot to the face of Strowman at the top of the stage. Strowman throws strikes of his own, throwing Cesaro to the side. Next Strowman takes Nakamura and throws him into the barricade half way down the ramp.

Strowman grabs the mic and says this weekend at Elimination Chamber, they’re going to “Get These Hands!” as the crowd says it along with Strowman. Strowman turns to nWo and says, “And you know what guys, it’s gonna be Toooo Sweeet!” nWo poses behind Strowman as he continues yelling at Nakamura, Cesaro, and Zayn.
