Gervonta Davis had time today as he went hard at Eddie Hearn. Gervonta took to Twitter as we were all greeted with the following heated tweet: “Hey @EddieHearn none of them bums you name can sell anywhere meanwhile..I’m doing it effortlessly and getting paid mo..it look like they need me more than I need them..crazy man!”
Now, what could this all be about? Where there is fire, there is smoke.
Michael Benson cleared this tweet up as Gervonta went off due to what Eddie Hearn had stated. Benson had stated on Twitter: “Eddie Hearn on Floyd Mayweather’s ‘in-house’ comments about Gervonta Davis: ‘You’re not giving these fighters an opportunity to create a legacy, be great. Gervonta will never be a great unless he fights Teofimo Lopez, Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney.’ [@DAZNBoxing Show]”
A follower responded to Michael Benson bringing up points of their own: “He used to do the same thing when Dazn USA were throwing money around, ‘Charlo HAS to come to DAZN to get big fights’ etc. Now that the US money has dried up, he wants to be all inclusive.”
