Former WWE Superstar Gillberg is certainly remembered by fans of the Attitude Era. He was a parody of WCW’s Goldberg character and has entertained fans for many years. Now it seems he recently suffered a heart attack.
Duane Gill’s wife told James Ellsworth to update fans on the news on social media. Gillberg and Ellsworth are close friends in real life, outside the squared circle. Ellsworth wrestled him in his retirement match as well.
Ellsworth posted a video on Twitter, where he looked visibly disturbed. He revealed that Gill had a heart attack yesterday, but was said to be doing okay. He was out of the ICU and “he is doing well.”
He is hopeful that Gill will be back home by this weekend.
