In the world of WWE, plans change almost every single day. One of the current pitches within the hallowed halls of WWE are having Goldberg and Brock Lesnar both working in Saudi Arabia. That said, there’s so much more as well.
As it was stated in a tweet by Xero News, Goldberg and Brock have both been pitched to be working in Saudi Arabia. The post also stated that early plans had Goldberg vs Omos or Veer and Lesnar vs Lashley. However, these are very early plans and it seems that it is in no way official at all.
Brock Lesnar has faced Bobby Lashley only once before, so having the two face off at Crown Jewel would make sense. What could boost it even more would be a triple threat match of Lesnar, Lashley, and Goldberg.
When Brock and Lashley last met – The All Mighty defeated The Beast Incarnate to win the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble earlier this year. While Lesnar regained the title in an Elimination Chamber match, he is still yet to defeat Bobby Lashley one-on-one.
Lashley, fondly remembers that moment as he would state: “It was one of the greatest moments. We talked about it this week, beating Brock Lesnar is a big step in my career. And going out there the main thing I wanted to do as a fighter, I wanted to see what he had. Everybody knows Brocks gonna throw you around a lot, he’s gonna hit the F5. He’s gonna try to beat you up, he’s gonna try to beat you down.”
We will have to see what happens in the coming weeks as there is still about two months left before stars start to head overseas to put on the best show possible. Official announcements should come within the next four weeks.
