Goldberg and Matt Riddle had a tensed backstage confrontation last year at SummerSlam. Riddle, who has been a vocal critique of Goldberg’s work in the ring, has also wanted to face the Goldberg for quite a while.
During their confrontation, Goldberg and Riddle exchanged a few words and implications about a potential fight were also made. All in all, it was an awkward run-in that was heated since both people aren’t fans of one another.
Goldberg recently appeared on Israel’s Total Slam podcast and there he was asked about his thoughts on Riddle. The former Universal Champion said that Riddle is a “booger” that gets caught in your nose.
He also stated that Riddle’s antics don’t affect his life in any manner.
He [Riddle] is like a booger that gets caught in your nose. He’s just annoying and won’t go away.
He has nothing to do, no bearing whatsoever on Golberg’s life. Period. End of story.
Goldberg is all set to face the Fiend Bray Wyatt on this week’s WWE Super ShowDown.
