Goldberg returns and challenges Drew McIntyre for the WWE title

Goldberg made a return to WWE television on Monday Night RAW and issued a challenge to WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

The Scottish Psychopath faced Keith Lee in the main event of RAW Legends Night as the legends cheered on from the ramp. WWE veterans like Ric Flair, Big Show, Hulk Hogan, Booker T, and Mickie James were present by the ringside. The two had a brilliant headliner, and Drew McIntyre emerged victorious once again, taking the pin with a Claymore.

Goldberg returns to WWE to challenge Drew McIntyre

Following the match, Drew McIntyre attempted to speak on the mic after bumping fists in a show of respect with Keith Lee. However, he was interrupted by Goldberg, who walked out of the ring and stood face to face with Drew McIntyre.

Goldberg went on to claim that none of the legends present here posed a threat, but he was different. He said was better than all of them, and he would prove that to Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble. He challenged the WWE Champion for a title match at the upcoming pay-per-view, which is set to take place on January 31, Sunday.

McIntyre made fun of Goldberg’s statement, saying that facing him would be like wrestling his own father for the Champion. Goldberg laughed at his face and went on to shove McIntyre as WWE RAW went off air.

Earlier on RAW before the main event, Hulk Hogan showed up when Sheamus was wishing luck to McIntyre. The legend once again spoke highly and emphatically of the WWE champion, and the two shared a fun moment together.
