WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has won multiple matches and titles with his brutal ‘Spear’ finisher. Many stars have opted to use the move. But, the WCW legend recently stated that he believes his version of the move is better than any other star.
Goldberg boasts his Spear move
Golgberg certainly showcased his dominance and the powerhouse laid his opponents down with ‘Spear’ numerous times during his legendary career. While the move has been highly used as a finisher, many stars have been using it more often as a regular move as well.
Speaking on Talk Is Jericho, the Hall of Famer was asked by AEW star Chris Jericho about his thoughts on other stars like Edge and Roman Reigns using the move so frequently. Goldberg stated that when it comes to hitting the ‘Spear’, his version outclasses everyone. Here is what he had to say:
“You know how I feel, It makes me want to *****. But, you know, hey, they say imitation is the best form of flattery, the Gilberg thing that, you know, Stephanie everybody and their mother uses the spear. Strategically placed, you know, as we were competing against WWE, before I went over there, people started using it. God, when I got there, you know, it was a commonly used move. I don’t know, man all I could say is anybody and everybody can emulate it, but nobody can do it like me.”
The former WWE Universal Champion has been away from WWE. His last match took place at Elimination Chamber in February, when he had challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. However, he was unsuccessful in his attempt.
