Goldberg Reveals Sad Truth About Vince McMahon

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg is one of the biggest stars of the company. He has been one of the most successful stars of the business under former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. It seems the WCW legend did not have the smoothest of years after joining the Stamford-based company. He recently revealed how difficult he found it was to work for Vince when he first debuted for the company.

Goldberg says it was stressful after joining WWE

Goldberg had already gained traction due to his stint with WCW. The former WWE Universal Champion had arrived in WWE in early 2003. Despite the already-gained success behind him, the veteran stated on Talk Is Jericho that his relationship with Vince wasn’t the greatest.

“It was not warm and fuzzy by any stretch of the imagination.”

Goldberg would go onto say how he struggled to find his feet during his first year or so with WWE.

“The first year that I was at the WWE from what I can remember was was one of the most stressful years of my entire life and like, I say, some of the things may have been fabricated in my own mind to the lobotomize me. But I I felt as though I was still the enemy walking in the locker room. I’ve always felt like an outsider but never as much as I did then.

The former WWE Universal Champion has been away from WWE. His last match took place at Elimination Chamber in February, when he had challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. However, he was unsuccessful in his attempt.
