Goldberg Reveals Truth About Vince McMahon

The Undertaker faced off against Goldberg at WWE Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia. It was a colossal failure and was criticized by fans and wrestlers alike.

WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg made his return to WWE in 2016 after a hiatus of more than a decade from the company. He would go on to defeat Brock Lesnar in a squash match at Survivor 2016 and then win the Universal Championship against Kevin Owens in 2017. He defended his title against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 in one of the main events of the show.  As stated by his contract, Vince McMahon can only have him compete in one more match this year, so it has to mean something. It’s rumored to be the last match of his contract, so it may be his retirement match. Goldberg also admitted to mocking Ric Flair for being too old to be in the ring in the past. Goldberg also sent a bold message to a female WWE Superstar a few months ago.

Goldberg squared off against Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WWE SummerSlam but was unable to continue on with the match due to getting injured as part of the storyline. Bobby Lashley won the match via referee’s stoppage.

He then had another match against Bobby Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel on October 21st in Saudi Arabia, where Goldberg finally managed to defeat him. Since then, the WWE Hall Of Famer has been absent from WWE television.

Goldberg recently spoke on  The Pat McAfee Show, Goldberg admitted that he returned to WWE because he felt guilty about not giving and only taking from the business.

First and foremost, because I owed the business something that I hadn’t given in the past. After a 16 year hiatus and obviously the birth of our son, it all changed. I felt really guilty about receiving so much from the business and then not really giving back, per the fans.”

Goldberg also said that he now ‘loves’ Vince McMahon and looks up to him, a very different relationship from his 2003-2004 WWE run.
