With the most recent Royal Rumble pay-per-view that featured Drew McIntyre vs Goldberg being a huge letdown for many, there may be some good news for Goldberg to have (yet again) another chance to redeem himself.
On the latest episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show’ hosted by Vince Russo, Vince spoke with former WWE creative member, Billi Bhatti.
Billi Bhatti was given a leaked list of WrestleMania 37 matches including some very surprising matchups.
Bhatti on ‘night one’ WrestleMania matches: “First of all, I’m gonna start with the unallocated matches. Here we have Ziggler and Roode vs Rey and Dominik.”
Bhatti changes course to Goldberg: “We have Goldberg who wants to work with AJ Styles, but Christian also wants to work with AJ Styles, and the company haven’t decided what they’re going to do yet.”
Bhatti continues: “Bill Goldberg is obligated to one more performance, so if he misses WrestleMania, that means that WWE will be going back with Goldberg into Saudi this year. Which means you’ll get Christian vs AJ.” “That’s a match that Christian wants to do, so I feel that may give the edge.” “The AJ Styles match is unallocated at the moment.”
