WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg recently made his return to the company for his second match of the year as per the contract. He was unsuccessful in winning the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam. It seems he has one more match on his WWE deal and a new report stated that will happen in Saudi Arabia. Goldberg opens up on his injury
WWE caught up with Goldberg and asked him about the extent of his injuries after facing Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam. The match was stopped when the WWE legend couldn’t carry on. Then Lashley took out Goldberg’s son Gage on top of it all. Goldberg admitted that surgery is needed to correct the issue created during the match.
He said:
“I have ligament damage and I have a pending knee surgery, does that answer your question? I really don’t care,” Goldberg said. Then he stopped getting into his truck and continued speaking, “what I do care about is that dirty son of a bitch Bobby Lashley and what he did to my son at SummerSlam. I just left the house, Gage’s shoulder is all jacked up, his neck hurts. God knows what a guy that size could have done to my son. So, the objective has changed. I’m not coming for the WWE Championship and I will rip it out of his chest.”
