BREAKING: Goldberg vs. Undertaker to headline WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia

WWE just made the following announcement for their June Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia:

JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA — The Saudi General Sports Authority will host WWE Super ShowDown at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, June 7, at 9 p.m. AST, and feature the first-ever match between WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg and Undertaker. In addition, the event will include Triple H vs. Randy Orton, as they create another chapter of their storied rivalry, and a 50-Man Battle Royal — the largest in WWE history.

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar are also scheduled to compete at WWE Super ShowDown, which will stream live on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East.

Thoughts guys? Is the match a few years too late?

This match would have been awesome 5 years ago but not now. Will I watch it yes but let be truthful this is about both Undertaker and Bill Goldberg making $20 million which I don’t blame them but that all it is about.

Personally I say let them keep that disaster. I see about it being special but about 5 years past a decent match from either of them…

  • Mike the Ike

While that is certainly true, special moments like that need to be reserved for people who spent money that wasn’t made with spilled blood.

  • jedi

Pretty sure way less people will see them embarrass themselves on that show as opposed to Mania

A few years? More like a decade.

So 10 minutes of entrance time for the two of them, and then the Undertaker no sells a jack knife, and Goldberg jobs for him. Or visa versa. Regardless, this match sucks.

  • Mike the Ike

Goldberg better win. Also, if Taker and Goldberg can’t be on Mania, then they shouldn’t appear on some nothing arab show.
