Halle Berry will be making her directorial debut in a full length feature motion picture playing a disgraced MMA star by the name of Jackie Justice who is looking to seek redemption in the ring while fighting for custody of her child. The name of this UFC inspired flick called ‘Bruised’ is set to come out on November 24th and was originally supposed to star Blake Lively in the role of Justice. This A list actress spent huge money on UFC tickets
Berry took over as the leading actress as well taking over the role of director from Nick Cassavetes who was originally slated to direct this film.
On social media via Twitter Berry stated this about the film, which also shows her in full MMA gear.
“After 3 years in the making, I am THRILLED to finally announce “Bruised” is coming to @netflix globally Nov. 24.
This project is so special to me, not only because it’s my directorial debut, but because the fight game, especially MMA, is a sport that I absolutely love.
