This week’s episode of NXT was taped in advance and had no live audience in attendance. This is likely to be the norm for the next few weeks.
On PW Insider Elite audioMike Johnson said that 2 or 3 weeks’ worth of content was already taped on Sunday for NXT. This may be shown over the following weeks, but he also pointed out that unless WWE found an alternate place to tape their shows, they would definitely run out of content eventually.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the company had to make difficult decisions that they otherwise would not have made. It was noted that Vince McMahon was the only person who wanted to carry on with WrestleMania.
The next two weeks of NXT are sure to be great ones, as they will feature matches that were scheduled to be on the NXT TakeOver: Tampa card.
