The Kickoff show for WWE TLC featured a huge 8-man tag team match. During the match, Big E got the pinfall on Sami Zayn and due to that, he will now be receiving a title shot soon.

During the pay-per-view, it was announced that Big E will be challenging Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Title on the upcoming episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
It will be the Christmas Day edition of the show and is expected to be filmed in advance on December 22nd.
For a long time now Big E has been on the receiving end of a singles push and perhaps fans will finally get to see him win the Intercontinental Title soon.
